Academic Help Sessions

  • Just wanted to remind you after school help started on Tuesday the 29th of September. Kids can come in and make up work or get extra help in any subject area. If you live within the district we have an after school bus that will take kids home to your doorstep. The help session lasts from 2:35-3:30.
  • Also, on Wednesday's during our 1st hour Inspire class, students have the opportunity to work on homework during that time. Tuesday's and Thursday's during Inspire, students will be either be working in a Math help session or a Reading/Writing session.
  • Starting next week, we are also going to have kids come to our classrooms during lunch if they are missing assignments in our classes. This usually helps kids get going a little bit because they don't like to miss the social hour of lunch. P.S. They do bring their lunches with them!
If you have questions please let me know:)

Math Book Online

We also received new 7th grade math books. We sure are lucky! There is an online option for these books also. The students received a yellow sheet today giving them access codes and the web address which shows them where to go and the codes they need to input for accessing certain areas. There are many different places the kids can go for extra help, reading the book online, video tutorials, etc. We also be going over how to access the book online here at school so if you are having difficulty please let me know. This one is much more complicated than the science book.

Science Book Online

This year the district bought new science materials for our 7th grade curriculum. We are fortunate to have also purchased the option to have a science text online because we only have 30 textbooks to use during class time. You can access the text from this website and then username is crossroadsmiddle1 password is ktemplar. I hope you can find some time to go and explore our next text! The site is located at http://labaids.com/ebooks/ebooks.php
